WATERLOO - Derrill DeWayne Reed, 37, of Manchester, formerly of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, of natural causes.

He was born July 22, 1972, in Waterloo, son of Harvey Reed and Elizabeth Alexander Reed. He married Cynthia, then later married Melissa Nelson.

He graduated from high school in Denver, Colo., and was currently finishing his IT degree.

Survived by: his parents; his stempther, Angela Reed; four daughters, Victoria Lucero, and Hannah, Yvonne and Alleesa Reed; three sisters, Rachel Washington, Jessica (Antonio) Byrd and Iryonna Reed; six brothers, his twin, Terrill, Timothy Alexander, and Lettray, Jamez, Aireus and Tavarus Reed; and a granddaughter.

Preceded in death by: his grandparents, Marshall Reed, Irine Peterson and Ruth Alexander.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Community Baptist Church, with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church. Sanders Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: may be directed to the family at 1614 Oakwood Drive, where they will receive friends.
