WATERLOO - James Wesley Wise, 90, of Parkview Nursing and Rehab, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

He was born July 25, 1919, in Delaware, Ark., son of Hardy and Carrie Willie Thompson Wise.

Mr. Wise worked in the foundry at John Deere for more than 20 years. He was a member of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.

Survived by: a sister, Lillie B. Woods of Waterloo; abd a daughter, Katrina Alexander of Wichita, Kan.

Preceded in death by: three brothers, Andrew, John and William; and six sisters, Geneva Ellingburg, Francis Bradley, Lottie Simpson, Velma Hill, Delores Morgan and Zora Mae Rainey.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Union Missionary Baptist Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Public visitation for an hour before services Tuesday at the church. Greer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: may be directed to the family at 1708 E. Fourth St., where they will receive friends.
