DUNKERTON - Coletta G. Meyerhoff, 86, of Dunkerton, died Thursday, Dec. 3, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 27, 1923, in Waterloo, daughter of Ed and Alma Cox Scott. She married Luverne Meyerhoff on July 10, 1942, in Lancaster, Mo. He preceded her in death June 28, 1993.

Mrs. Meyerhoff farmed with her husband for 41 years and had various other jobs as well.

Survived by: a son, Stanly (Beryl) of King George, Va.; a daughter, Linda (Joel) Brockman of Dunkerton; a sister, Mary (Bob) Chapin of Tripoli; seven grandchildren, Ann (John) Sims, Susan (Daryl) Larsen, Kathy (Steve) Fuller, Paul Brockman, Teresa (Bryce) Smith, Corinne (Jermie) Kuehner and Kyle Meyerhoff; seven great-grandchildren, Conor Fuller, Ashley, Samantha, and Josie Harmon, and Zack, John David and Grant Sims; and a brother-in-law, Jim Anderson.

Preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; and two sisters, Rose Scott in infancy, and Hazel Anderson.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. Dec. 15 at Zion Lutheran Church, Readlyn, with inurnment preceding the service at 9:30 a.m. in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Garden View Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
