WATERLOO - Margaret Katherine Johnson Walker, 84, of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., formerly of Waterloo, died Nov. 2 after a brief illness.
She was born Jan. 24, 1925, in Kellogg, daughter of Karl Gust and Katherine Lauber Johnson. She married C.A. Walker in Waterloo and they later divorced.
Mrs. Walker was a 1942 graduate of Waterloo West High School and during World War II was employed at John Deere. She retired from GTE.
Survived by: two sons, James (Denise) Johnson of Rancho Cucamonga and Robert (Vicky) Johnson of Clermont; two daughters, Leslie (Jose) Calero and Katherine (Mark) Ynajasa of Rancho Cucamonga; seven grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; three brothers, Dean (Billie) Johnson of Waterloo, Kenneth (Juanita) Johnson of Waverly and Richard (Yvonne) Johnson of Traer.
Preceded in death by: five brothers, Walter, Robert, Karl, LeRoy and Gust Johnson; a sister, Ruth Trost; and a granddaughter.
Celebration of life services: were Nov. 21 at United Methodist Church, Cucamonga.
