SOMMERFELT, DOMER, HOLST, OPPERMAN

CRESCO - Bill D. Sommerfelt, 44, of Cresco, formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Ridgeway.

He was born Feb. 1, 1965, in Waterloo, son of Delbert and Vivian Domer Sommerfelt. He married Cheryl Holst on July 6, 1984, in Brandon.

Mr. Sommerfelt was a U.S. Army veteran and was the pastor at Assembly of God Church, Cresco. He was a former member of Celebrations Assembly of God Church, Waterloo.

Survived by: his wife; a son, Drew (Jennifer) of Reinbeck; two daughters, Rachel (Eric) Opperman of Waterloo and Ashley Sommerfelt of Cresco; three grandchildren, Lexus Walker, Parker Opperman and Gwenivere Sommerfelt; his parents of Independence; three brothers, Terry (Laurie) of Earlville, Brian (Linda) of Houston and Traci (Brandy) of Antioch, Ill.; a sister, Kimberley Sommerfelt of Independence; many nieces and nephews; and the family dog, Jada.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Wade Sommerfelt.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Celebrations First Assembly of God Church, Waterloo, with cremation to follow. Public visitation from 9 a.m. until services Saturday at the church. Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, Waterloo, is in charge of arrangements.
