WATERLOO - Linda J. Steele Stewart, 49, of Waterloo, died Friday, Nov. 6, at Allen Hospital.

She was born June 16, 1960, in Ottumwa, daughter of Albert L. and Sarah J. Anderson Spilman. She married Billy D. Steele on June 26, 1978, in Waterloo, and they later divorced. She then married Roger K. Stewart on July 9, 2005, in Des Moines.

Mrs. Stewart graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1979 and furthered her education at AIC. She was a homemaker throughout her adult life.

Survived by: her husband; two daughters, Jessica Steele of Cedar Falls and Danielle Steele of Waterloo; five grandchildren; a brother, Ron Spilman of Dacono, Colo.; and a nephew, Edward Spilman Jr. of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: her parents; and a brother, Edward L. Spilman Sr.

Services: 2 p.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, with inurnment at a later date. Public visitation from noon until services Friday at the funeral home.
