CEDAR FALLS - Margaret S. Bergstrom, 89, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Western Home Communities Martin Center.

She was born June 9, 1920, in Waterloo, daughter of Frank H. and Matilda Durchenwald Price. She married Robert H. Bergstrom on Oct. 23, 1937, in Eldora. He died Dec. 15, 2001.

Mrs. Bergstrom was employed in the cafeteria at Malcolm Price Laboratory School for 30 years.

Survived by: four sons, Robert "Bob" of Cedar Falls, Tom of Greeley, Colo., Dick (Sue) of Creston and Jerry (Connie) Bosch of Meinerzhagen, Germany; a daughter, Diane (Dennis) Boaz of Waterloo; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: two sisters, Jean Scharnweber and Floy Hewitt; and two grandchildren, Brett Bergstrom and Bryce Bergstrom.

Graveside Services: were today in Fairview Cemetery, Cedar Falls. There was no visitation. Richardson Funeral Home assisted the family.

Memorials: may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or Western Home Foundation.
