WATERLOO - Maynard Paul "Mr. Bibbs" Crawford, 59, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

He was born Nov. 23, 1949, in Newton, son of Pherman and Joyce Replogle Crawford. He married Joyce Terrell on Sept. 2, 1980, in Waterloo.

Mr. Crawford graduated from Waterloo East High School and attended Hawkeye Community College and the University of Northern Iowa.

Survived by: his wife; three sons, Reuben, Udo and Maynard Michael, all of Waterloo; six daughters, Tereasa Ancona, Monica Crawford, Ruby Crawford, Mary Crawford, Ruth Crawford and Rose Ann Crawford, all of Waterloo; 22 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his father; and a brother, William "Bill" of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: his mother, Joyce Replogle; a grandson, Ethan Zahnd; and an aunt, Betty White.

Family-conducted graveside Services: 2 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Cemetery, with full military rites conducted by Waterloo AMVETs Post 19 and Evansdale AMVETS Post 31. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway assisted the family.
