WATERLOO - Maxine K. Kephart, 92, of Waterloo, died Friday, Oct. 16, at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was born Jan. 22, 1917, in Waterloo, daughter of Frank and Lena Seiler Sproul. On Oct. 18, 1941, she married Clayton Palmer in Kirkwood, Mo. They were later divorced. She married Erwin Kephart on April 6, 1946, in Eldora. He preceded her in death in 1988.

Survived by: two sons, Larry (Judy) Palmer and Ron (Janelle) Kephart, both of Evansdale; two grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Hugh Sproul.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Parrott and Wood Chapel of Memories, with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and for an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
