The Eicks lived in Bremer County until they moved to Reinbeck from 1942 to 1953. The family moved to Waterloo where Leona became active at Immanuel Lutheran Church, where she was a member for the past 57 years. Leona especially enjoyed being involved with her church guild and circle activities and her many friendships. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking and playing cards, but most of all, she loved her family get-togethers.
