WATERLOO - Theodore A. "Ted" Wood, 73, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Oct. 8, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home of kidney failure.

He was born March 15, 1936, in Racine, Wis., son of Angus and Evelyn Post Wood. He married Beverly Schultz on Aug. 14, 1961, in Racine.

Mr. Wood was a manager for Wilber Auto Salvage for over 46 years.

Survived by: his wife; a son, James (Lisa) of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Holly Kraft, Rachel Wood and Andrew Jensen; a great-granddaughter, Destiny Fairly; two sisters, Harriet Langdon and Judy Spang both of Racine; and a special cousin, Jerry Zinke of Racine.

Preceded in death by: his parents; a daughter, Deanna Jensen; and a son, Glenn.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and for an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials: may be directed to the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in lieu of flowers.
