WATERLOO - Geraldine Sallis, 61, of 1551 Oakwood Drive, died Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

She was born Sept. 22, 1948, in Waterloo, daughter of Edgar and Pearline McKay Day. She married John Sallis in Gulfport, Miss., and they later divorced.

Ms. Sallis worked in the housekeeping department at Ramada Inn for many years.

Survived by: two sons, John F. of Kansas City, Mo., and Mitchell P. of Waterloo; a daughter, Vickie M. Moore of Waterloo; four grandchildren; and a brother, Dwight (Debra) Day of Gulfport.

Preceded in death by: her parents; a brother, Edward Day; and an infant son, Clarence.

Services: 1 p.m. Saturday at Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Greer Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to 121 Candlewick Road, Waterloo 50703, where the family will greet friends.
