M. Corinne Churchill - January 14, 2010

M. Corinne Churchill, 81, of Waterloo, died on January 14, 2010 at Rosewood Estates in Waterloo. She was born on April 25, 1928, in Iowa Falls, the daughter of Howard H. McMillen and Lorene (Derbyshire) Miller. She grew up in Waterloo and graduated from West High in 1946.

After her graduation, Corinne worked at Rath Packing and married Melvin Rogers. The couple moved to Detroit and later divorced. She later met and married Robert (Bob) Churchill and moved to Florida where they worked on the construction of Walt Disney World in Orlando. They later managed many condominiums in Naples. After their retirement, they moved to Lake Placid. Bob died in 2003. In 2007, Corinne moved to Waterloo and lived at Rosewood Estates. Corinne loved her many dogs, especially Ce Ci, and was a regular donor to the humane society.

Corinne was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

She is survived by two sisters, Louise Krahulec of Waterloo and Marie (Charles) Fuller of LaPorte City; a brother, Paul Miller of Des Moines; and seven nieces and nephews. Corinne will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
