Chas. P. Adams -- Obituary

Charles P. Adams passed away Sunday, Aug. 7 at 12:00 A. M. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Wilber Ohl, after a short illness. He was the son of Benjamin and Arminda Adams, was born Jan. 21, 1855, and died at the age of 77 yrs. 6 months and 17 days. He was married to Rosella Scott, Sept. 26, 1896 who preceded him in death 29 years ago.

He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. George Nelson, Aurora, Mrs. Fred Chase, Mrs. Chester Mericle and Mrs. Wilber Ohl all of Fairbank and one son who passed in infancy, also several grandchildren.

He also leaves to mourn his death two sisters, Mrs. Lucinda Lyons of Fairbank, Iowa and Mrs. Melvina Monroe of Mosside, Canada. Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Funeral services was held in the Methodist church Tuesday at 2:30 P. M. conducted by the pastor, Rev. Clarence Oelfke, the pallbearers were his nephews. Burial was in the Fairbank cemetery.
