SUDDEN DEATH OF OLD RESIDENT

HENRY DOS OF BENNINGTON TOWNSHIP CALLED.

Native of Germany Had Lived
Here For Thirty-three Years.

Henry Dos, a resident of Black Hawk County for the past 33 years, died suddenly Sunday evening at 7:45 at his home in Bennington Township, death being due to heart trouble.

Decedent was a native of Crosson, Germany, where he was, born March 8, 1836, being thus 76 years of age. His marriage to Lisetta Genheng occurred in Germany and. of the six children born to them, Henry, Karl and another child died in infancy.

Those who survive to comfort the widow are Fred Dos, Mrs. Hattie Fink, and Mrs. Henry Fink, all of Bennington township.

Before coming to this county, the family lived for a time in Cook County, Illinois. Mr. Dos was a member of the Lutheran church and was a man who held the respect of all the community His sudden death will be widely mourned.

The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at St.John's Lutheran Church in Bennington Township with Rev. H. L. Adix as the pastor in charge.
