Lynn A. Bachman (1951-2009)

Waterloo-Lynn Allen "Butch" Bachman, 58, of Boulder Creek, Calif., formally of Waterloo, died Dec. 3, at the Dominican Hospital, Santa Cruz, Calif., of natural causes.

He was born Nov. 23, 1951, in Waterloo, son of Paul and Vivian Matthias Bachman. He graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1970.

Survived by: a special friend, Bea Rey; three brothers, Mike (Teri) of Kansas City, Gary of Waterloo, and John of Ankeny; and a sister, Kay (Tim) Bachman-Zarifis of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: his parents.

Memorial services: will take place in California.
