Wilfred Franklin Lichty, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Lichty, 1202 Mulberry street, died at 11 a. m. Wednesday at Des Moines. He had been ill of diabetes for the last four years. He went to Des Moines with his father about one month ago, where they were making their home temporarily at 1155 Ninth street.

Wilfred Franklin Lichty was born June 7, 1911, in Waterloo. He spent all of his life here with the exception of two years in Cedar Falls, a year in Dubuque and the brief stay in Des Moines preceding his death.

He was a member of Grace Methodist Episcopal church here, and attended Waterloo East high school. Besides his father and mother, who was visiting at Quincy, ill., at the time of his death, he is survived by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Lichty, 1202 Mulberry street.

Funeral service will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at Kistner’s chapel in charge of the Rev. Harvey Travis, pastor of Grace M. E. church. Burial will be in Waterloo cemetery.
