MRS. AMELIA SCHNEIDER.

Mrs. Amelia Schneider, 70, of 217 Mobile street, died at 12:05 p.m. Thursday in St. Francis hospital after having been ill for eight days with heart trouble. She had lived in Black Hawk county since emigrating from Germany in 1880.

She settled first in the Dewar vicinity, where she lived untl moving to Waterloo about 20 years ago. She was born in Germany Aug. 18, 1865. In 1883 she was married to Christian Schneider, who died 23 years ago.

Mrs. Schneider was a member of First Evangelical church.

Surviving are three sons and two daughters: Mrs. E. J. Rogers, 715 Hammond avenue; Mrs. Walter Smith, Dewar, Ia.; H. A. Schneider, 821 Eighth Street east; Foster and Chester Schneider, at home. There are also four grandchildren.

The body was taken to the O'Keefe & Towne funeral home.
