LICHTY, GLICK, WAGONER, MILLER

Funeral services for Harvey F. Lichty, 89, of 1607 W. 4th St., who died at the Americana Nursing home Friday night, of complications of his age, will be 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Waterloo Church of the Brethren. The Rev. J. D. Glick, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Orange Township Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Parrott & Wood Funeral Home from noontime today until noontime tomorrow and at the church from 12:30 p.m. tomorrow until service time.
Mr. Lichty had been a resident of the nursing home for the past three years. He formerly resided at 1607 W. 4th St.
He was born on June 21, 1880 in Black Hawk County, the son of Jacob and Sarah Schrock Lichty. He married Dora Della Wagoner on Dec. 14, 1903, in Waterloo. They farmed in Eagle Township until his retirement in 1945, when they moved to Waterloo.
He was a member of the Waterloo church of the Brethren. Surviving are his widow at the Americana Nursing home; four sons, Gerald, 138 Hawthorne Ave., Buel J. of 1109 Oregon, Lynn of 1140 South Hill Drive, Harry of Rural Rt. 4, Waterloo; one daughter, Mrs. Leonard Miller of Rural Rt. 3; 10 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter; one grandson and by one sister.
