Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the south Waterloo Churcho f the Brethren for Mrs. Maggie Glessner, 75, of Orange Center, who died at 3 a. m. Tuesday at Schoitz memorial Hospital of a cerebral hemorrhage.
The rev. Clarence D. Sink will officiate. Burial will be in the Orange cemetery. The body will be taken from the Locke Funeral Home to the church at noon Thursday.
Mrs. Glessner was born July 8, 1881, in Orange township, the daughter of Daniel and Sarah Lichty.
She was married to Alvin K. Glessner, Dec. 25, 1900, in Orange.
She was a member of the South Waterloo Church of the Brethren and was active in women’s activities at the church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mae Valente, Santa Cruz, Calif., Mrs. Ollie Nearing, Gladwin, Mich., Mrs. Lois Johnson, Janesville; a sister, Mrs. Minne Lichty, 272 Hammond Ave., a brother Dan Lichty, Franklin Grove, Ill., nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a brother.
