Mrs. Sarah Hoover Weigle, 76, died at 5 a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. G. Lichty, 308 Locust street, after an illness of three months.

She was born Aug. 15, 1847, at Wooster, O., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Hoover. She came to Orange township at the age of 18 and married David Lichty at Waterloo. He preceded her in death 42 years ago and Mrs. Lichty was married to John Weigle, who died 14 years ago.
Deceased was a member of the Church of the Brethren of Orange township.
Surviving are these children: Mrs. Lewis Baker and Mrs. A. K. Glessner, Orange township; Mrs. D. G. Lichty, Waterloo; Rev. D. J. Lichty, who is a missionary in India, and who visited his mother four years ago last fall; also two brothers, Samuel Hoover, Waterloo, and Daniel Hoover, La Verne, Cal.; also seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The remains are at Petersen Bros.’ mortuary, pending completion of funeral arrangements.
