W. D. Schrock, 60, Dies; Resided In City Many Years
Skilled Cabinet Maker Victim of Pernicious Anemia; to Have Funeral Monday
W. D. Schrock, 60, died at 3:50 a. m. today at his home, 218 Hammond avenue, of pernicious anemia, after an illness of five years’ duration. He had been a resident of Waterloo more than 40 years, coming here from Milledgeville, IL

Born in Pennsylvania.
Decedent was born Feb. 14, 1855, in Somerset county, Pa. When he was 21 he went to Milledgeville, residing there a number of years. He came to Waterloo about 40 years ago.
His marriage to Miss Eliza Saylor occurred Jan. 12, 1885, at the Saylor country home near Waterloo. The couple resided on the homestead six years, then coming to Waterloo to the residence on Hammond avenue.
Mr. Schrock was a skilled cabinet maker, having been employed many years with the Nauman company and with the Waterloo Sash & Fixture works until compelled to give up his work because of ill health. He was a stockholder several years in the latter company.

Widow, Daughter Survive
Surviving, besides the widow, are a daughter, Hazel, at home, and two brothers, Israel Schrock, Meyersdale, Pa., and John Schrock, Milledgeville, Ill.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p. m. Monday at the home and at 2 p. m. in First Brethren church, of which he was a member, in charge of Rev. A. D. Cushman, pastor. Burial will be in Elmwood.
