Wm. Speicher Dead – William Speicher died at his home five miles south of Waterloo, in Orange township, at 7 o’clock this morning of inflammation of the bowels after an illness of six weeks. He was a son of John Speicher, who formerly kept the American House in this city, and moved to the country with his parents about 15 years ago. Of late he has had charge of the Orange creamery. He leaves a wife and two children. The funeral services will be held at South Waterloo church at 11 a. m. Friday. Will was a first-class young man and his friends and former schoolmates in this city will be shocked to hear of his death. All will extend the hand of sympathy to the sorrowing relatives.
