Funeral services for W. W. Klingaman, 80, of 925 Denver St., who died Wednesday at 4:45 p. m. at Schoitz Memorial Hospital of complications incident to advanced age, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at First Brethren church.
The Rev. Herbert H. Rowsey, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery. The body will be taken at noon from Locke Funeral Home to the church.
Mr. Klingaman, a life resident of Black Hawk county, was born Nov. 6, 1879, in Orange Township, a son of Silas and Mary Cain Klingaman.
He married Mary Ellen Miller May 8, 1891 [1902], and farmed for 30 years in Orange Township before moving to Waterloo in September of 1938. Surviving are six sons, Verl F. Klingaman of Rt. 1, Robert W. of 1825 Baltimore st., Carl G. of Emmetsburg, Guy D. of San Antonio, Tex., Harold E. of Poughkeepsie, N. Y., and Charles W., Mitchell, S. D.
Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Ed Sheronick of 925 Denver St., and Mrs. Dale E. Bush, Lincoln, Neb., as well as 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, three brothers, one sister and one granddaughter.
