WILLIAM PUTERBAUGH
Funeral services for William Puterbaugh, 76, who died yesterday at the Western Old People's Home, Cedar Falls, shortly after his arrival there, will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in First Methodist Episcopal church, Waterloo, of which he had been a member for a number of years. Rev. J. Arthur Young, pastor, will officiate. The body will be taken Monday morning to North Liberty, Ia., for burial beside his first wife.

Mr. Puterbaugh was born in Canada, July 11, 1851. For many years he operated a farm in Johnson county. He was twice married. Surviving, besides the second wife, formerly Mrs. Lydia Turner, whom he married April 16, 1921, are a son, Everett, Rock Island, Ill., and two daughters, Mrs. Anna Winter, Independence, Ia., and Miss Nellie Puterbaugh, Iowa City. The children arrived yesterday.
