WATERLOO, IOWA — Keith R. Dyball, 82, of Waterloo, died Thursday, March 27, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation, of natural causes.

He was born March 19, 1926, in Sumner, Iowa, the son of Edwin Arthur and Sarah Chubback Dyball. He married Wanita Pagel on Sept. 18, 1949, in Oelwein.

He enlisted in the Navy during World War II when he was 17 years of age. He is a member of the Becker/Chapman American Legion Post #138.

Mr. Dyball was an estimator for Peterman and Hayes Carpet for several years and then became owner/operator of Dyball Acoustics, retiring in 1982.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Keith “Ron” (Paula) of Waterloo; two daughters, Denice (Terrill) Diekman of Hudson and Deb (Larry) Craft of La Porte City; a brother, Paul (Ila) of Fairbank; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack; and two sisters, Joan Adrian and Grace Dyball.

There were private family services. Graveside military rites were conducted by the Becker-Chapman American Legion Post #138 and the VFW Post 1623.

Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball Ave. was in charge of arrangements.
