WAYNE C. WILSON
WATERLOO - Wayne C. Wilson, 83, of 603 Kirkwood Ave., died Friday, Jan. 23 at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.
He was born Oct. 22, 1914, in Ashkum, Ill. He married Doreen M. Curtis on Aug. 12, 1946, in Wallasey, Cheshire England.
Mr. Wilson was a self-employed masseur in Waterloo.
He served in U.S. Army Signal Corps during World War II.
Survived by: his wife; five sons; Curtis, Paul and Randy, all of Waterloo, David of Memphis, Tenn., and Robert of Des Moines; a daughter, Mary Geiger of Waterloo; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Lloyd Wilson of Kalispell, Mont.; and a sister, Juanita Stephan of Mount Vernon.
Preceded in death by: two sisters.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Way- choff-Grarup Funeral Service/West Ridgeway with burial in Waterloo Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Waterloo AMVETS Post 19 and Evansdale AMVETS 31. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
