Funeral Held Monday for Railroad Victim.
Funeral services were held in Oelwein Monday afternoon for Loren Hanna, 70, who was killed last Friday in the Great Western railroad yards at Oelwein when he was accidently run over by a freight train while at work as a switchman. He died later on the same day at Mercy hospital.
He is survived by his wife and children. His wife was formerly Helen Kaiser, a sister of several in this vicinity. Those who attended the funeral from here were Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Loveless, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mahood, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Runyan, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Elliott, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Brown, Mr. and Mrs. George Elliott, Mrs. Richard Mahood, Mr. and Mrs. James Hill of Mt. Auburn and Mrs. Harold Zobel of Brandon.
