NORWAY: Marjorie E. Becker, 87, died at Colonial Manor, Amana, Thursday evening, Dec. 10, 1987 after a short illness

Born Sept. 25, 1900, in rural Norway, she was the daughter of James and Alice Harrington McLaughlin. She married Frank Becker Sept. 23, 1930 at Holy Trinity Church, Walford. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Norway, and the NWW Golden Age Club

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, July 25, 1961; three brothers, Bill, John and James; one sister, Gertrude Kelly

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William (Alice) Waters of Mt. Clemens, Mich.; a son, Francis, rural Watkins; two sisters, Alice Lefebure of Fairfax and Helen Kelly, Blairstown

Services were held at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Norway, Monday, Dec. 14,at 9:30 a.m. with Rev. Richard J. Ament officiating. Burial was in St. Michael's cemetery

Arrangements were by Brosh's, Norway. Funeral diretor was David Hrabak, Belle Plaine.
