Hi Darlene,

Today I decided to start a search for any information on my great grandfather, Fedder Kallesen. When I read your query, it brought tears to my eyes. My grandfather, Bernhardt or Bernard Kallesen is the brother of Hans Peters Kallesen. I am holding the family portrait in my lap as I type this. Great Uncle Hans was the third oldest child in the family.

My father, Melvin Kallesen, was the son of Bernard and Elzina Kallesen. He passed away in 1999.

Our family moved to California in 1963. I live with my husband Douglas in northern California near the Oregon border in the town of Yreka.

I am thrilled to find a cousin searching for family.
