The Cass County Genealogical Society maintains an extensive obituary file in the Genealogy Room at the Atlantic Public Library. They staff it certain days of the week, and if an obituary isn't already in the file they have microfilm back to the early 1870's which they can check , since you have dates of death (the Atlantic paper is a daily paper).
