Marriage of Adolph Schlotfeldt-A. Rodgers

We are trying to find the parent names of Adolph Jacob Schlotfeldt, once of Ion, Iowa. Orphaned before 8, went to live with sister named 'Eddy'.
Married ANNETTE RODGERS, had daughters born in EXIRA: JOY on July 1, 1918. DOROTHY 1921 and BETTY, 1926. They moved to Calif. about 1926.
Believe marriage record might show his parent's names. We do not have a date but guess it would be 1925 or '26, and probably in Exira. Does anyone have information on that family. (No birth record in Ion for Adolph Jacob.)
