In Response To: Fowler Family (Sasha)

Ashual Burwell, who married Fowler, I think her name was Fannie, lived and farmed in the Exira area after 1875. They are buried in the Exira Cemetary- ddown near the road. After Ashual's father died in June 1893, his mother Emily Arnold Burwell lived with them for some time. One source says that she died there, but I have been unable to find her death record. She is buried next to her husband William L. Burwell in the Crystal Plains Cemetary inSmith Co. KS. According the dates on her tombstone she died in 1896. Without getting out the pictures I can't tell you the exact date. I was unable to find a record of her death in Audoabon Co. or in newspaper files at the Exira Public Library.
I have some copies from the newspaper files at the Exira Library containing about the Fowler family. I would copy and send those if you would like me to do so. Veryl
