I had a few minutes to check on 2 death records at the Audubon County Courthouse yesterday. There was no death record for James Bruce Lee. Per the death records:
(1)- Elizabeth Belle Lee, born in England on 2 October 1842; died 28 December 1911 at 69 years 3 months and 26 days of age, of Paresia. She was buried on 30 December 1911 in Arlington Heights Cemetery in Audubon; Her father's name was John Cook who was born in England; The mother's maiden name was filled in as Unknown; the physician was A.L. Brooks.
(2) - J. Ralph Lee (Adopted Son was written by his name), born on 13 May 1881 in Iowa and died 12 December 1912 at 31 years, 6 months and 28 days of age, of chronic chymatou nephritis. Nephrectomy of right kidney for multiple stones; Father's name was Mayburry and Mother's name was Shranger; buried on 13 December 1912 in Arlington Heights Cemetery; the physiciam was A.L. Brooks.
