GRANDMA GRIFE

Dear Old Soul Reached Her
Ninety-Second Mile Post

Grandma Lucy A. Grife, the respected mother of Mrs. Nels Christensen, departed this life for the life beyond, Saturday last.

Although being a constant sufferer for many years, her amiable nature made sunshine for those around her. Her last days, when free from pain, were happy ones with the child she loved. She reached the age of 92 yrs., 11 mo. 2 ds.

Truly she will be missed from the home, but her sweet Christian life and character vouch safe her to the presence of the King of Glory. Mrs. Christensen who for many years has attended every want of that dear old mother, will ever remember as no other can, and being assured that her condition was right to inherit immortal life, in her consolation. Her remains were taken to Bradford, Illinois where they lay several of her kin.
