Judge Charles E. Herrick of Craig last Friday received news of the death of his father, at Exira, Iowa. He left at once for the old family home to attend the funeral, going from Denver, where he had been for a week, presiding in one of the divisions of the District court in that city

Judge and Mrs. Charles E Herrick and young son returned Thursday from Exira, lowa, to which place they were called a fortnight before by the sudden death of Judge Herrick’s father.

Note: Parents of Julius Earl "Boy" Herrick were Edson Herrick and Mary A. Bigelow. Julius was married to Jessie Louise Wilcutt.
