MRS. WILLIAM ALT
LAID TO REST

Nina Belle Hays, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Frew Hays, was born
in Audubon County, Iowa, October
5, 1880. On the 26th day of February,
1908 she was united in marriage
to William Alt. To this union
were born five children, two
boys and. two girls, Verda Ruth,
William Raymond, and Baby two
weeks old; one dying in infancy.

She was converted and united
with the United Baptist Church of
Greeley township on August 5, 1900
of which she remained a faithful
member until she united with the
Christian Church two years ago, of
which she was a member at the
time of her death, which occu(r)red
August 10, 1919.

She leaves to mourn her death
a husband, three children, father,
mother, two brothers and five sisters,
besides a host of relatives and
friends.

Mrs. Alt was a kind and lovable
character, a dear wife and mother.
She is gone but kind thoughts of
her will live on forever. She will
be missed by all.

Short services were held at the
home, Tuesday afternoon, conducted
by Rev. Matson, after which
the remains were brought to the
Christian Church in Exira and services
were held with Rev. Linkletter
in charge. The remains were
laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery,
Audubon.

The Journal extends sympathy
to the bereaved family and relatives.

Note: Parents of Nina Belle Hays were Frew Hays, Jr. and Louisa Maria Reed. Nina Belle was married to William Charles Alt.
