DONALD SHRAUGER DEAD

The following was taken from
the Mount Vernon Herald of Washington:

Donald Shrauger, an electrician,
was instantly killed. He had recently
spent a year in Alaska. Donald
enlisted in the service of his
country, in 1917, and since then
had made several trips to France.
He received his honorable discharge
in January 1919, and has been employed
in the Puget Sound Light
Company's Station in Seattle where
he met his death by standing too
close to the high tension live wires,
one of which "jumped" him, killing
him instantly."

Donald Shrauger was a grand-son
of Grandma Statzell (Anna Olmstead) of this city (Exira).
He was a son of Edwin Shrauger,
who went West many years ago.
Our heartfelt sympathy is extended
the bereaved relatives.

Note: Parents of Donald Louis Shrauger were Ira Edwin Shrauger and Mamie Finne. Donald was married to Marian ???.
