BABY GIRL DEAD

Marjorie Elizabeth Burns, the
infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
W. M. Burns was born January
23rd, 1919. She died March 10th,
1919, age six weeks and three days.
She leaves her father, mother, two
sisters and one brother, Altie, aged
eight, Vernon, age six and Violet
almost three. Besides these of the
immediate family, one great grandparent
survives her, all her grandparents
and uncles, aunts and cousins.
Her life was yet in the early
dawn with only the promise of the
coming day. But that was enough
to give loves hope to father, mother,
sisters and brother. She by guardian
angels led, is safe from temptation
and sin's polution, she lives,
tho we call her dead.

Funeral services were held at the
home, Tuesday afternoon at three
o'clock, Rev. Matson in charge.
The remains were laid to rest in
the Exira cemetery.

Note: Parents of Marjorie Elizabeth Burns were William Monroe "Roe" Burns and Rosa May Hinkle.
