EXIRA DEPARTMENT

Samuel Eakin, a broher of Will
Eakin, of this vicinity (Exira), died the last
part of last week at the insane asyl-
um, in Clarinda. His brother went
down and brought the remains up
home and they were laid to rest in
Highland church cemetery.--Anita
Tribune.

Note: Parents of Samuel Tigert Eakins were David Eakins and Maria Rae (Rue) McGregor. Samuel was married to Clara Maria McDowell.
