OBITUARY

Violet Simpson was the daughter of Albert Earl Dalzell and Mary Etta Dobson and died at the Audubon County Memorial Hospital at the age of 71 years, 8 months and 27 days.

She attended school in Guthrie Center, Iowa.

On February 25, 1929 she marred [married] Ted E. Simpson in Des Moines, Iowa. They lived near Brayton and in Exira, Iowa until her death. She was a member of the Federated United Church of Christ, Order of the Eastern Star, and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one sister, Juanita Ruth.

Survivors include her husband, Ted of Exira; 3 sons: John Simpson of Ft. Dodge, Iowa; Robert Simpson of Brayton, Iowa; and Bill Simpson of St. Louis, Missouri; 7 grandson; 3 granddaughters; 1 great-grandson; 1 sister, Hazel Possehl of Anita, Iowa; and 1 brother, Sam Dalzell of Casy, Iowa.

The family of Mrs. Simpson appreciates the many expressions of sympathy and concern. Everyone is invited to meet with them in the church basement following the committal service.
