Nyle R. Hall, the daughter of Bernard and Minnie French Spieler, died at the Exira Care Center in Exira, Iowa, at the age of 87 years, 10 months, and 2 days.
She was baptized and confirmed. She attended Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Nebraska graduating with the High School Class of 1924. Nyle then graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1928 where she was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. Following graduation she worked various jobs in Lincoln.
On June 14, 1934 she was united in marriage to Paul N. Hall in Lincoln. In 1945 they moved to Exira where they operated Hall's Ben Franklin Store until they retired in 1976. Paul died April 6, 1982. Nyle maintained her home until she became a resident of the Exira Care Center in late 1992. She was a member of the Federated United Church of Christ in Exira.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, were her parents and her brother, Forest Spieler.
Survivors include her daughter, Judy, and her husband, Robert Simpson, of Exira; her grandchildren: Ben Simpson of Exira; Sally and her husband, Jay Rajcevich, of Moreno Valley, CA; Susan Simpson of Exira; and Tom and his wife, Kristi Simpson, of Brayton, IA; her great-grandchildren: Jaimie Rajcevich and Katie Rajcevich both of Moreno Valley; Justice Simpson, Kasie Simpson, and Tate Simpson all of Brayton; her sister-in-law: Mary H. Robinson of Lincoln, NE; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family of Mrs. Hall appreciates the many expressions of sympathy and concern. Everyone is invited to meet with the family in the church fellowship room following the committal service.
