Little Johnnie Rose, the fourteen
months old son of Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Rose, of Audubon township
closed his eyes to things earthly on
Wednesday morning and an angel
carried his spirit to the great white
throne and laid it the Masters' feet.
Funeral services were held at Holy
Trinity Catholic church, in Exira,
this morning, Thursday, October 11,
1906; Rev. Father Weiland saying
Mass for the baby's departed soul
and the precious lump of clay was
laid to rest in the Catholic Ceme-
tery, east of town. The sympathy
of the neighbors and the entire
community goes out to the breav-
ed parents.Note: Parents of Johnnie Rose were Charles Rose, Sr. and Barbara Jaihik, Czechoslovakian immigrants.
