LOCAL NEWS

Mr. and Mrs. George Breaken-
ridge, residing three and one-half
miles south of town (Exira), were called
upon, last Monday, to mourn the
loss of their girl, a child of about
three months of age. The interment
took place in the Oakfield Cemetery
where the remains were placed by
the side of a baby brother, who died
about two years ago. The mother
is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. C.
Hawk of this city. Elder E. C. Whit-
aker conducted the funeral, Tues-
day, at the home.

Parents of Bernice M. Breakenridge were George H. Breakenridge and Eliza "Lida" Hawk.
