Exira Department

Last Saturday occurred the death of
Mr. Joseph Navratil at his home about
ten miles south-east of Exira. Mr. Nav-
ratil was born in Bohemia sixty-eight
years ago. He leaves a wife and four
children to mourn his loss. The funer-
al was held from the Catholic church
Monday morning and interment took
place at St. Boniface Cemetery.

Note: Joseph N. Navratil was married to Marie Kakacek (1840-1904).
