Exira Youth Passes
Following Operation

Holger Madsen, 21, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Rasmus Madsen, living
three miles southeast of Exira, died
Tuesday morning at the Atlantic
hospital following an appendicitis
operation, performed Saturday
morning.

He was born in the state of Wash-
ington June 20, 1911. He had lived
with his parents near Exira for nine
years.

He is survived by his parents and
a twin brother, Harold.

Funeral services will be held to-
day at 1 p. m. at the home and at 2
o'clock at St. John's Lutheran
church west of Exira, the Rev.
Plambeck officiating. Burial will be
in St. John's cemetery.
