--------
William T. Bintner Dies
Following Long Illness

--------

William T. Bintner, prominent
farmer of Oakfield township, died at
his home south of Exira Saturday,
October 10, following a long illness.
Mr. Bintner had been a patient suf-
ferer for the past five years with dia-
betes which later developed into
tuberculosis. During the past year
or more he had been bedfast most of
the time, but in spite of this was al-
ways cheerful and uncomplaining.

Mr. Bintner died upon the same
farm on which he was born, having
lived there his entire lifetime. His
age was fifty-eight years, eight
months and twenty-six days. His
widow and several children survive.

Funeral services were held Tues-
day morning at the Catholic church
with the Rev. Fr. Aspinwall in
charge. Burial was in the Exira
Catholic cemetery.
