Sister Of Exira Man
Died In Des Moines

Mrs. C. H. Miller, former resi-
dent and a sister of John Rendle-
man of (t)his place (Exira), died suddenly of
a heart attack at her home in Des
Moines Saturday.

Mrs. Miller, the former Hallie
Mae Rendleman, was born in Exira
about 60 years ago. She grew to
womanhood here and was married
to Rev. H. C. Miller, a Methodist
minister. She is survived by her
husband and five children.

Funeral services were held at
the Carl White funeral home in
Des Moines at 2 o'clock Wednesday
afternoon and burial was in a Des
Moines cemetery.

Relatives here were unable to
attend the funeral, having to re-
turn home here getting part way
to Des Moines.

Note: Parents of Hallie Mae Rendleman were James Martin Rendleman and Flora Ann Houston.
