Found Early Christmas
Morning in Corn Crib--------
Funeral services for Paul G. Seidle-
man were held Saturday afternoon at
2:30 at the First Presbyterian church
in Adair, the Rev. J. M. DeBerg of-
ficiating. Burial was in the Adair
cemetery.Mr. Seidleman died Christmas morn-
ning by his own hand, his body being
found by his wife hanging in the corn
crib at their home. Worry over a bus-
iness deal is thought to have been
the reason for his act, as he had been
brooding over the matter for several
days.Paul Gustave Siedleman was born
at Brownsport, Oregon, on Novem-
ber 14, 1892. He came with his par-
ents to Iowa in 1894 and has resided
near Casey and Exira during his en-
tire lifetime.He was married January 31, 1917,
to Minnie Rockholz of Atlantic. To
this union were born four children,
Herbert Paul, Kenneth William, Le-
ona Margaret and Arnold Calvin, who,
with the widow survive him. He al-
so leaves to mourn his passing his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gustave Siedle-
man, and eleven brothers and two sis-
ters. The brothers are George and
Henry Siedleman of Adair, Fred
Siedleman of Des Moines, Ernest, Al-
bert, Walter and Lawrence Siedleman
of Casey, Louis Siedleman of Chicago,
Andrew Siedleman of Omaha and Emil
and Theodore Siedleman of Exira.
The sisters are Mrs. Anna Brisbane
of Adair and Mrs. Rosy Sharon of
Casey. One sister, Lily, preceded him
in death.Note: Parents were Gustave Siedleman and Margaret "Maggie" Guttenfelder.
