James W. Rendleman Died
Suddenly Saturday. Final
Rites Held Monday

James W. Rendleman, a former
resident here and a nephew of
John H. Rendleman of Exira, died
unexpectedly Saturday at his home
in Des Moinens. Funeral services
were held at the Dunn funeral
home Monday afternoon and burial
was in West Haven cemetery in
Des Moines.

Mr. Rendleman was 41 years of
age. He was born in Exira and
grew to manhood here. He was a
son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Rendle-
man, residents of Exira many
years ago, and a grandson of Dr.
James Rendleman, early Exira
physician.

Following his graduation from
the Exira high school he attended
Drake university law school and re-
ceived his degree. For the past
several years he had been employ-
ed as a salesman for a Des Moines
school supply firm.

Surviving are his widow; his
mother, Mrs. Lula Rendleman, and
a sister, Mrs. Geraldine Rendle-
man, all of Des Moines.
